2:24. ಎಲೀಷನು ಬೇತೇಲನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಎಲೀಷನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

2:24. ಅವನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎರಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕರಡಿಗಳು ಹೊರಟು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತೆರಡು ಹುಡುಗ ರನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟವು.
